Walter Burley Griffin was an American architect and is best known for designing Canberra, Australia’s capital city. Griffin worked in partnership with his wife Marion Mahony Griffin, and together they developed an innovative modern style. The Griffins became known as visionaries, as well as people with a deep respect for the landscape in which they worked.
